Veronica is the day care provider (or the babysitter) that Sophia goes to. She day-cares 2 infants (Sophia and Ava) and 4 or 5 older kids including Anthia, her own daughter. Among the older kids, Anthia is my favorite, who has big, round beautiful eyes. She just got her hair all shaven and became bald recently (done by Veronica). And here is the weirdest thing: she is bald and yet she is cuter.

Yesterday when we came to pick up Sophia, I was looking at Anthia smilingly for quite a while (I just love watching her eyes). All of a sudden, she told me: "I didn't carry Sophia!"

What? What? What did you say? I couldn't understand her very well so I asked Veronica who verified what Anthia said. She told me that all her older kids loved Sophia, they wanted to hold her, touch her and play with her. But Veronica told them that they could only touch Sophia's feet and legs, not her hands or head. They should not carry her either.

And that's why Anthia told me that she didn't carry Sophia? Probably she was a little concerned about my watching her, thinking maybe I thought she carried Sophia (which was not allowed by her mother), and so she had to tell me the truth: "I didn't carry Sophia!"

Aren't kids cute and fun?
